Home > Why Impro Wins

It goes without saying; we live in a global economy. Purchasing departments have shown there can be considerable cost savings when buying from lower cost producing countries. However, sometimes purchasing from these lower cost producing countries can turn out to be a rather unfavorable experience for a variety of reasons. That is not the case when you buy from Impro. Yes, our manufacturing facilities are located in China, however, the strong progressive management of the company sets us apart, and we have a proven record of repeat customers from major U.S. and European companies to support that claim.

Some of the common concerns when working with an Asian company are addressed below to assure you, when you partner with Impro; you've made a good choice.

What about getting parts on time when buying across the ocean.

We will work closely with you to determine your specific inventory needs. We can have parts in production, parts on the ocean, parts in our warehouses (including safety stock), and parts en route to you, all at the same time. Impro customers benefit from a "continuous product pipeline". Our warehouse facilities on the West coast and in the Midwest enable us to provide Just-In-Time delivery as any of your domestic suppliers.

Will my specifications be followed.
Impro has service and support centers staffed by local personnel in North America and Europe to eliminate any communication difficulties. Our quality standards are extremely high and will rival any competitor's in the world marketplace. We are ISO 9001 and TS16949 certified and in the progress of obtaining AS 9100 certification. Impro uses processes such as APQP (Advanced Product Quality Control), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), SPC (Statistical Process Control), and TQM (Total Quality Management). Additionally, because of reduced labor costs, we employ quality inspections at levels higher than most other companies can afford.

Who will offer technical support and assistance.
Impro continually invests in honing the skills and expertise of our employees. We have more than 200 experienced engineers on staff that make recommendations to optimize your production design and minimize your production costs. We collaborate with you to drill down to the best manufacturing solution for your specific requirements, eliminating expensive and time consuming revisions.

What about patent protection.

Impro is totally committed to protecting the patent rights and complete confidentiality of our customers. We are in the business of supplying casted and machined parts to high-quality OEMs, not in the business of duplicating our customer's products and reselling them. Impro has grown to the size and strength we are today as a result of repeat business from well-satisfied customers.

How do I know my parts are not being subcontracted out.
Impro does not sub contract out any production of customer's parts without first obtaining approval from the customer. We have invested heavily to expand our capacity to meet production demands, even at the busiest times. We have a complete range of special processes and treatments all under one roof including  plating, anodizing, passivation, carbonizing, painting, nitriding, vacuum heat treatment, salt-bathing and more.

We invite you to compare our quality, service and price to see why we have built successful partnerships with many of the world's leading businesses.
